I chose, after swatching pretty much every colour in the collection, to go for Shade 9, Nude In Private.
Nude In Private is a pinky nude colour, it has a gorgeous fruity scent and applies well to the lips giving a glossy, highly pigmented colour. It feels like (and smells like) you're wearing a lip balm leaving lips feeling hydrated and soft. The colour does wear off after a couple of hours, but this seems to be the case for most lipsticks I use.
Yves Saint Laurent are a company owned by L'Oreal so it would be interesting to see how the L'Oreal version of this lipstick compares in terms of the formula, but for me, the luxurious look, feel and smell of the Rouge Volupte Shine is a definite winner and I'm so pleased I finally made the purchase.
